What will my son
EAT at summer camp?
Meals are served family style at camp. The troop sits together at
pre-assigned tables throughout the week. We eat in a large mess hall,
decorated in scout & troop memorabilia. The scouts serve as the
waiters, table set-up & clean up staff on a
rotating schedule.
There is a full-time staff to prepare the meals. The meals are well-rounded,
nutritious and generally fairly tasty. For those finicky eaters,
there's always peanut butter & jelly. Often there are "leftovers"
and the call goes out for seconds.
During the meals
there is plenty of entertainment as the staff engages the boys in songs
and skits.
